Bring your family and friends and fall in love with this delightful cabin and the serene north country that surrounds you and your guests. We have two other beautiful cabins on this property so you can bring all of your family and friends for relaxation, natural beauty and plenty of space for larger groups of family and friends!

This cabin getaway is a perfect destination to enjoy the beauty of Michigan and all the seasonal activities it has to offer. Set on 20 acres, surrounded by mature maple trees and located 10 minutes from Shanty Creek/Schuss Mountain, 40 minutes to Boyne Mountain, 57 minutes to Charlevoix, 15 minutes to Lake Bellaire, 36 minutes to Torch Lake , 45 minutes to Traverse City and 1 hour drive to Mackinac Island!

Move in for a week or long weekend and make yourself right at home. Come stay for a family vacation, reunion, a girls getaway or a guys golf trip

This property has rolling hills, wide open spaces for plenty of outdoor activities and spectacular views to the Northwest to enjoy amazing sun sets.

An outdoor enthusiast's playground! In the spring, summer & fall you can hike and enjoy outdoor games on the property and in the winter you cross country ski, snowshoe. Snowmobile trails are nearby and easy to access from the property.

Actual riding of off road vehicles is NOT permitted on our property, however nearby there is access to state maintained trails that will give you hours of outdoor adventure!

Antrim County allows snowmobiles on the shoulder of the roads to enjoy the area or get to trail heads. You can do this from our cabin by driving on our road out to the the shoulder of Mancelona Road. We also have plenty of space right outside your door to park your trailer and sleds.

The quaint town of Bellaire is only a ten minute drive from the cabin. Home to Short's Brewery and many other great bars, restaurants and shops to explore.

If it is night life you are looking for, take your choice, take a 50 minute scenic ride to Traverse City or Petoskey, both medium size cities with plenty of shopping, live entertainment and a wide variety of restaurants to choose from!

Our Maple Ridge Event Center will be renovated and ready for weddings, reunions, graduation parties, birthday celebrations, bridal/baby showers, anniversary parties, retirement parties, etc.

Renters must be 25 years of age or older to book.

We only take reservations and payment through VRBO.

We no longer offer cable TV, instead we have brand new Samsung 55" Smart TV for you to enjoy!

RATES:
* $225/$300 a night - seasonal rates may apply
(up to 8 people in beds) - 2 night min. stay- Low Season /4 night min.-High Season
* Price varies due to the season
* $10 per extra person per night (beyond 10 people)
* $500 security/damage deposit

The $500.00 deposit for Damage protection will be fully refunded within 7 business days departure unless there is something damaged that needs to be fixed or housekeeping charges extra for excess cleaning if the cabin is left very messy.

Great little long weekend getaway cabin!

Great Summer Vacation Cabin
This was a great choice for a summer vacation with our children and grandchildren. The cabin is clean, comfortable and the open floor plan makes it easy for all to spend time together. We were close to hiking, lakes, golf; and took advantage of the option to use the pool at the campground across the street. We definitely recommend this cabin for your family vacation also!

Good place to rest and get away
We had cold and rainy weather for our summer trip. Hanging out with family.. playing games and sharing a meal was nice. The house was cozy and yet we did not feel crowded.

Peaceful Relaxing Week.
Very nice location with plenty of privacy. Close to Torch Lake where we rented aTritoon for the day which was thoroughly enjoyable. We also went Kayaking one day. If your looking for a clean comfortable place to spend some time then you can't go wrong staying at Maple Ridge. We also visited Traverse City, Charlevoix, and Petoskey. We really enjoyed the privacy and peacefulness of this location.

Great Cabin

Neat Cabin in a peaceful setting

Great weekend getaway space
This cabin is very welcoming, clean and spacious. The layout is wonderful for families with little ones. We spent a lot of time enjoying the deck and the view. Kathy was friendly and super quick to reply.

Great Trip
Great location central to sleeping bear dunes, traverse city, boyne city, kayaking on the jordan and manistee rivers as well as Charlevoix. Great beaches, restaurants and farmers markets. The house was big enough for all 8 of us and the 3 full baths made it easy. the dogs loved the space. Thanks for a great trip.

Perfect Gathering Spot!
We just left the cabin in Mancelona after celebrating the New Year with friends. The cabin was so convenient for snowmobiling and skiing at Schuss Mountain. Hosts were amazing, keeping us plowed out and well supplied. With four adults and four kids, the accommodations were perfect! Thanks for everything!

Traverse City Area Vacation
Our family enjoyed a relaxing 5 day vacation in this cabin. It had lots of amenities and house was very comfortable with plenty of room for our family of 4. The kids even had their own play space. We enjoyed cooking smores during our nightly bonfires. We couldn't ask for anything more out of a rental.

Very clean place.
This cabin is in a great location, very clean! The only drawback is that although there is space for 8 to sleep in beds and 2 more in fold out couch (and plenty of bedroom space for air mattresses!), the public area is quite small to accommodate that many people . Bathrooms and bedrooms very spacious though! Hostess was very easy to work with and checkin checkout was very simple.

Peaceful getaway
The cabin was just as advertised and was located close to many area/activities that we were interested in, such as visiting Traverse City, Petosky, Boyne, Torch Lake and Sleeping Bear Dunes. The property management took great care of us - the internet went down after a storm and the permanent fix was going to take at least a full day but we were provided with a "hot box" as an interim solution that worked perfectly. I definitely would return to this location/cabin.

Incredible fall wedding location
Could not have asked for a better location and property host for my little sister's wedding. The property manager and owners were on top of it all, from communication to accommodation. We were their first event (in the events center on site) since the renovation, and they could not have done a better job at stocking the place with essentials. Same goes for the cabin.. everything you could need in a kitchen and bathroom.. all you needed was food! They have a nice little fireplace outside in the basement and the view this time of year couldn't have been more beautiful. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to throw a wedding or private event.

Easy access
Great proximity to Torch lake and surrounding areas. Check in process was very smooth. Directions on how and where to deliver your trash was not very descriptive. I would not recommend bringing any large trailers because the space is limited. The yard and/or space to do any activities is not very well kept in the way that the grass is hard and not irrigated. It was painful to walk in. The back yard near the fire pits was beautiful, but not well kept. It is not mowed and there was a large pile of rotting leaves next to our door. The interior was nice and had all of the basics, but was a little bit infested with beetles/ticks? Especially in the lower level. Overall it was very enjoyable but only as a place to sleep or eat. Family activities at the site was difficult.
