"We were in transit after a very early morning arrival in Manaus. This was a hotel we chose just for one night and we could not have been more pleasantly surprised. Yes, this is a European budget chain so the rooms are tourist class, inexpensively but practically furnished, spartan, cozy/small. Think entry level cruise ship cabin. "My wife and I enjoyed our time at the Lodge. The staff is amazing, they did everything possible to make our stay the best it could be. The reception by Tellus and his team made the start of the stay start right. Shout out to Shimir, he is extremely knowledgeable of the region and went above and beyond expectations to share key insights on the Amazon Rainforest. I highly recommend property. "

"We arrived at the hotel from the Manaus airport about 3:00 am. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. We were in bed by 3:30 am. The bed was comfortable, and we had a short but restful sleep. We did here some street noise, but it didn't keep us awake for long. The breakfast buffet was adequate, and check our was easy. I wouldn't want to stay there for more than 1 night, but it's proximity to the airport,was excellent."
