Rooms wise : furnitures will need some update (hair dryer which feels like it’s going to explore & rusty , unstable door knob on the verge of falling off ) . "Staff was amazing and very helpful. Stephane the manager helped us when we had a problem with our bathroom and moved us to another even nicer room. Very nice breakfast actually the best we had in Sulawesi. The dinner menu could be more extensive and a bit lower in the price as compared with other places it’s quiet pricey. We can recommend to stay at janji laut!"

"16-26 Mar 2018 stay. Nice place, they are making some repairs/renovations too. I visited in 'low season', and mostly the only one there. Staff is friendly and will do whatever you ask. But you have to ask, and I find this is typical for this culture. I had a budget fan room and it was big and beds are nice thick mattresses, not foam. Food is very good, and plentiful. Snorkeling at 'house reef' is excellent. It would be nice if they had hammocks or 'lounge chairs' for 'down-time'...
