"The hotel is right on the beach and ground is well kept. Staff very friendly. We got upgraded to a premier room which is spacious. The view is amazing. There is free guest laundry services on site with plenty of detergent available and four washers and four dryers.Read the brochure given while checking in and you will see several perks covered under resort fee like daily snorkel gear for 2 hours free. They also have go pro complimentary rental for 24 hours from the pool desk. However they are hard to come by. Also bring your own micro SD chip to use in the go pro. It is a wonderful place to stay!"

"My husband and I stayed here years ago for our anniversary and loved it so much, we came back! We brought our family and some friends and their kids. It was a great set up for all of us. And lovely location! Breathtaking views of the valley and the ability to easily get to the quaint town of Honoka’a. We specifically chose this location so we could have a central spot to come back to after exploring parts of the northern area of the island. Highly recommend! "

"Very nice condo with a beautiful view from the lanai overlooking the ocean. Very clean, host was very helpful with questions and even left us a nice gift. The condo could use some style/design updates but had everything we needed and was very comfortable. "

"We wanted to get away from the harsh Boston winter and thought of trying something different as it was our first visit to Big Island. This house did not disappoint, pictures in the listing did not do it justice. The house is beautiful! Clean and well stocked with every amenity you can imagine. The open plan living room/dining area is furnished with high end teak furniture, modern and clutter free. The kitchen looked like it was from a magazine. The expansive Lanai with ocean views stretched across the width of the house. Each of the end master bedrooms had french doors opening to the lanai, We slept with the doors open all night, lulled by the sound of ocean waves. It was the best nights’ sleep ever! We woke to the crows of roosters and the moos of cows. The pantry was well stocked with spices and basics, anything else needed was a short drive to Foodland in the next town of Waimea. We were happy that James, the host and caretaker was a text away. He lives in the unit below and whenever we needed anything he would appear with it. He is a delight to talk to, very knowledgeable about the area. We did day trips to Volcano Park, Waipio Valley, had a fancy dinner at Merriman’s, Hawaiian cowboy BBQ at Fish and Hog and malasadas at Tex-Drivein. The historic town of Honokaa is 10 minutes away, we loved the little museum. Farmers’ markets and Wednesdays and Saturdays are a must see. All in all the house is a way to experience true Hawaii. We are making plans to come back next winter."

"The condo is located in a beautifully landscaped community in Waikoloa Villas. There are two community pools, hot tubs and grills. My guest pass also worked at a legit saltwater lap pool if you are lap swimmer like me. We ate two times at Johnny’s which is an open air bar and restaurant.But the reason we booked was because of the access to world class beaches. They didn’t dissappoint.Brooke, Tim and Maia took great care of us and were responsive to any needs we had. They are great hosts! "

"My wife and I wanted to bring our whole Ohana to paradise—four adult couples and our grandson—and this home was the perfect place to do it. I've always thought about moving to Maui, but after staying here, I might have to rethink that! The Big Island is incredible, and Waikoloa Village has a special charm of its own.Because of the time change, we took early morning walks through the neighborhood and immediately noticed the welcoming, community feel. Neighbors were out on their front porches, "talking story," which made us feel right at home. One of the most unexpected and delightful surprises was a flock of free-range turkeys that wandered into the front yard!The house itself was fantastic—well-appointed with thoughtful touches like laundry facilities, an ironing board, and even coffee, filters, and creamer stocked for us. Having access to the pool was a huge plus, and the ping-pong table in the garage was a fun bonus. Andy, our host, was outstanding—checking in via email to ensure our stay was perfect.We will absolutely stay here again… unless we end up becoming neighbors! "
