"It was beachfront and had a restaurant, so a great location. However, we could not see the beach because of large trees blocking the view. The bathroom was very run down, the caulking was moldy and coming off in strings. Hotel staff were very friendly. "

"Nice view from the lounge areas. The breakfast and dinner options were buffet style and not that great but it was our only option for dinner. Hotel felt like it was stuck in the 70s, it wasn’t dirty but it was old school. Quaint hotel with a nice beach view. "

"A new hotel which has just opened in Kalavryta. The condition of the hotel reflected how new it was. There is quite an amusing lift arrangement where you go up in one lift and then back down in another. When not carrying luggage, best to walk around. The owner didn’t speak much English, but really made us welcome!! He was kind enough to open breakfast early a couple of mornings so we could eat before we went out. This was a continental style affair. We didn’t eat an evening meal or drink in the hotel, we went into town instead. The only criticism was the design of the bathroom. This is a wet room with shower, toilet and basin. We found the shower drained slowly and the floor doesn’t prevent water seeping under the door into the bathroom. There is no method to stop this water getting into the bedroom."

"The place is brand new. Very well maintained. Great service. Highly friendly staff. Tasty breakfast. Good dining options. Amazing pool. There are not too many attractions close by. Perfect place just to relax or to spend a day in between Patras and Athens or south Peloponnese. Highly recommended!"

"Loved our stay at Kalavrita Canyon Resort and Spa. We were pleasantly surprised on our mountain drive up to Kalavrita as there is stunning scenery along the switchbacks. The hotel staff are exceptional; the rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The decor of the hotel is very eclectic and interesting. There’s a sweet courtyard in the rear and pool. Underground and street parking available. Walking distance to historic sites and village shops/restaurants."

"Hotel was lovely, infinity pool was great. Delicious breakfast each morning. If we were to stay again we would hire a car. The walk to and from the town was a bit steep and the local sites needed transport. The scenic railway was amazing! "

"I usually stay at hotels, but this time I tried an apartment. I was pleasantly surprised. The apartment is two levels: the first level has a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with amenities like water, juice, and coffee, and a bathroom with towels, shampoo, conditioner, and even toothpaste. The second level features a bedroom with a large window offering stunning sea and sky views. The night sky is breathtaking, and the beach is right in front of the house. There's also parking. Amazing place!"

"We stayed here for 3 nights to see family. The property was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Prior to my arrival, George organised transfers from Athens and to Kyllini port. Konstantina was lovely. Breakfast was great and they even served us early the day we left. They washed our clothes for a small fee which was appreciated. Accomodation was very spacious and the air conditioning worked brilliantly which was a huge relief as it was very hot. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable. "
