Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
I made a reservation for three rooms via Expedia and noted that I wanted connecting rooms. My request was not declined. Upon check-in, the lady at the front desk informed me to wait an hour for the connecting rooms, but she mentioned that her shift was ending. Later, a staff member named Brian, who took over, informed me there were no connecting rooms available and placed my party in whatever rooms were vacant.
I also requested assistance regarding parking for our Sprinter Van, as it couldn’t fit in their designated parking area. It wasn’t safe to park in the space in front of the facility because the ground was icy, and our snow chain broke while attempting to park. We found a safe parking spot behind the motel, but Brian insisted we couldn’t park there. Instead, we were forced to park across the street at a gas station and pay for overnight parking, even though it was clear that we could have parked safely behind the motel.
Brian was very rude and unhelpful throughout the process. I will never book at this Quality Inn motel again. Management should focus on training staff to be more accommodating, helpful, and courteous to customers.
