"Facilities were clean and staff was eager to help even though most lacked English. This meant that staff might answer questions without really understanding what was being asked.. The area looked rough but I felt safe visiting an all-night at 0300; I did travel by taxi."

"The hotel is clean and pretty centrally located. Staff have limited English but are very eager to help with any issue. I have left bags here twice as I have travelled around Maluku, using Ambon as a base. A plus is that there’s a supermarket and a cafe on the first floor of the hotel. Only complaint: the air conditioning is feeble and could use an upgrade. "

"i like the room, its cozy, calming and simple. But, i don't like the breakfast. If you travel frequently and have been used to be served buffet, then it will cause you major shock"

"A piece of paradise that feels like you have a beach all to yourself! The family who run the resort do all that they can to make you feel at home I would add a couple cautions due to its remote location: - There is limited plumbing (no flushing toilet) and no wifi (we were able to get a weak signal and used our own data) - everything we ate was fresh, delicious and local but this means a lot of fish, rice, greens and eggs. Every night it was cooked differently and we loved every meal, but...

"The property owner Ifron was extremely helpful and kind. He helps with arrangements, taxis, snorkeling trips and meals. Ora Sunrise is remote but the adventure via boat and car is worth it. The surrounding landscape of steep rock cliffs, jungle, white sand beaches are amazing. If you go take the snorkeling boat trips. Beautiful coral and fish.
