Our TV was missing from our room, so check in was a bit delayed and they had to separate our beds which we had asked for before we arrived, but other than that, if you need a place to relax, it is great to wind down there. "We were in Kakamega for work and during the weekend we moved to Rondo. This is a lovely and peaceful place, with an enchanting park were it is possible to see monkeys and listen to the songs of a variety of birds. We appreciated a lot the meals (I've asked for vegetarian meals and they was excellent) and the tea with a delicious piece of cake in the afternoons, taken directly to our small but beautiful cottage, despite the rain."

"This hotel is not for people traveling with children. It can only be described as a love hotel or sex hotel. There are no room numbers, just names like plum, lemon, melon... The dining area had torn linen and there were men and women behaving and talking sexually inappropriately infront of children. If you are looking for a hot night then this is for you. There is even a note in a folder in the room about luck of security."
