"We had a wonderful week in Marica's villa. The whole property is finished and furnished to an incredibly high standard. The rooms are large and airy, beds are extremely comfortable and there is so much storage! The bathrooms are so luxurious, it feels like living in a top end hotel! The kitchen is beautiful and comes equipped with everything you need to cook for yourself. The gardens are huge and the pool is stunning, super clean and was a great size for our kids. "Es war von Kaffeefilter, Zucker, Salz wirklich alles vorhanden. Der Check in war problemlos. Das Haus sehr sauber und die Nachbarn waren auch freundlich. "

"This is a lovely house. It was ideal for the family gathering we had which included 8 adults and 5 kids aged 3 to 16. The pool is great and looks in real life exactly as on the pictures and so does the rest of the outside facilities. Overall the property is very clean, the bedrooms are nicely sized and all have their own bedrooms. The owner and the property manager are very responsive. I would go back there in heartbeat !"

"We had a fantastic week at Villa Eda, an immaculate property that exceeded our expectations, apart from the lack of a hand whisk in the kitchen. Despite the heat wave with temperatures in the high 30s to low 40s, the efficient air conditioning kept us comfortable. The property’s isolation was perfect for us, although the 10-minute drive on an uneven gravel track requires a car with good suspension. The small pool and outdoor kitchen were wonderful, and collecting fresh eggs from the chickens...

"Really beautifully renovated building. Modern kitchen/ bathrooms but nice thick stone walls too! Hosts were friendly, generous and always responded quickly to any questions. Centrally located so most sites we wanted to see were 30-45 min drive away from the house. Swings in the backyard were great for our kids!"

"Wir waren als 4-köpfie Familie in den Herbstferien hier und es war einfach traumhaft. Unser Ferienhaus ist uns in dieser Zeit richtig ans Herz gewachsen und wurde zu einem Zuhause auf Zeit. "The villa was perfect for our holiday with family and friends. The villa was in a cluster of about 5 houses in the country but only 5 minutes drive to a few little towns. We really enjoyed taking the bikes (provided by the villa) around the locals area each day. We used both houses which fitted us all in very comfortably (15). All the rooms were clean with a fantastic shabby chic, traditional style. The kitchens were very well equipped and we loved the outdoor kitchen in the pool house too....

"This home is a great get away for your young family. There are plenty of activities in the house to keep the children happy and a very relaxing atmosphere for the adults. The house had everything we needed. The location was optimal for exploring Isteria and located near a small village with a market and a few local restaurants. The hosts were very response and welcoming."

"My family and I spent 11 nights at this beautiful property. It was perfect for us as our 16 year old could have his own space in one of the units and the rest of us took the other unit. The pool was absolutely gorgeous and stayed clean throughout our stay. We used it multiple times each day. And the view of the Adriatic is stunning. I took the trail down to the see most days. You have to be somewhat fit to do this, especially on the way back since it’s at least a 20 min hike all uphill. But once...

Most impressed we were with the care that Barbara and her brother took to welcome us and to promptly help out with some minor issues. The surroundings of the villa are very quiet and peaceful. The pool, veranda and gazebo are great. With the car it is about 15 min to Labin and 25 to the beaches of Rabac."

"We stayed for a week and thought that the house and location were ideal, we could get to anywhere we wished within 30mins and we really appreciated the surrounding peaceful countryside. So beautiful inside and out. Many hours were spent in the pool with a very handy outside shower. Indoor had everything you could ever need to prepare food and provide comfort. Would recommend to anyone, very pleased with our choice, and the host was extremely helpful and informative."

"This is a hotel outside the city of Pula. Easy check-in, friendly staff, free parking, very good breakfast. Room is a little small and bathroom fixtures are odd, shower in particular. Water drains toward the door and runs out into the bathroom. There is no place to put soap or shampoo in the shower. "

New charming holiday home, centre of Istria

Great central location in beautifully restored property

"The property is located in a small neighborhood below Beram just outside Pazin. Its central location provides easy access to hill towns and seaside areas of Istria as well as day trips to explore Slovenia and Trieste. The property manager lives in the neighborhood and always immediately responded to our questions or assistance requests. We arrived mid-September just as the weather became unseasonably cold. As a result, the bedrooms and bathrooms were very chilly as they are not heated. The property description should state that only the common areas are heated & cooled. While the accommodations are very good we would suggest the following to make renters stay even more comfortable: written instructions for operating kitchen appliances (microwave, stove, dishwasher operation is not self-evident); wifi is weak - install boosters; bedrooms need more clothes hangers in armoires (2 per room insufficient); add clothes hooks in bedrooms particularly in bedroom with only shelves in armour; add towel hooks in bathrooms (1 small hook in each is insufficient); wooden sticks/bars to hold shutters open to prevent banging and closing with the wind. We had numerous wasps in the kitchen - their entry point should be found and closed - the property manager stated that they probably entered when we opened the kitchen door and although we were careful and watched this was not our experience. We hope these suggestions are found to help make an excellent rental even better. "
