"Beautiful property, convenient to the airport. Lovely lunch and free drinks, rooms are clean and spacious. Lovely patio, Staff were very kind and helpful. The only thing I’d mention is the carpeting going up to the rooms is very dirty/stained."

"We were delighted with the location of the hotel to explore Faro and we loved the quirkiness of it all. We were off season so didn’t expect to use the pool and outside areas. They were a bit run down looking with some broken sunbeds and torn curtains but hopefully that was being addressed by the owners as they renovated for the start of the new season. We had an amazing evening meal on our second evening which was the highlight of our stay. We really enjoyed our stay"

"We enjoyed our stay very much. We had a room for three which was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent, each member was friendly and ensured that our needs were met. Parking was on the street, it was free and within close proximity to the guest house. I definitely recommend a stay."

"What an amazing place Vila Milreau is. Spotlessly clean, great, quiet pool area and really friendly owners. There’s a good little supermarket across the road, three really excellent, inexpensive restaurants and a small bar which can be found if you turn right at the church. If you need to get about Ubers are readily available and super cheap. We’ll definitely be back!"

"This is not a hotel. The description on Expedia was very misleading. When we booked a deluxe room we thought it was a hotel but in actual fact it was a room in a shared apartment wihin a very private residential block. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was in an excellent location in a quiet area but also near the train station and the town. The hosts Cláudia and Luis have put a lot of time and effort into ensuring the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast was delicious with freshly baked bread, homemade jam and good quality coffee. "Great hotel in a residential rather than tourist area within easy walking distance of the historic town. The hotel itself is within the Ria Shopping Centre on the 2nd floor with lift access and is very modern and clean. Good breakfast and free hot drinks available throughout the day. Would recommend."

"A great find. Only 500m from airport so walkable (though we did have a car). Free parking on site and breakfast included in cost of room. Room was very clean with a great shower. Good breakfast selection in clean and tidy breakfast room. Clean swimming pool (didn’t use as February) if you have children with you. Next door was good restaurant that served Indian, Portuguese, Chinese and Pizza/Pasta so covered all the bases. A great hotel if you have an early flight or late arrival (as we did). We used as a base to explore Faro and Tavira. Also free wi-fi. "

Lovely stay in Faro

"Since our visiting granddaughter had an early flight, we decided to book this hotel. We booked a three beds suite--nice, comfortable and clean. We missed the breakfast so I cannot comment on it. At check-in, the machine to load the door keys was down so the young lady at reception had to accompany us to our room to unlock the door. By evening, the door key machine was functioning. We were able to park our car right in front of the main doors which was a bonus. We would definitely stay in that hotel again!"
