A great stay in the mountains

The chalet has charming ambience . Delightful- comfortable furnishings. Cupboards and fridge unexpectedly well stocked and we did enjoy the treats. Bathroom is a winner

This was quiet and very restful just what I was looking for. Having the fire was brilliant. The only slight setback was the fridge has a smell as if something was off. But we couldnt find anything. This happened e ery time the fridge door was opened. Apart from that everythinf was great.

Unique

This was a very different property to what we were expecting. Being a converted, stand alone garage, it didn't have a standard lining to walls and ceilings. This aside, it was roomy and comfortable and contained all that we needed. We liked that the owners were looking to achieve an eco approach with tank water, solar power and eco toilet. The lush, garden setting afforded privacy which was an advantage in the glassed bathroom- be prepared! The location was excellent with Mary Cairncross Park, with its magnificent views, minutes away.
