It was a very old Quirky pub, The Staff were very Helpful and Friendly, the Full English Breakfast was very Adequate and Tasty. Would stay there again.

Picturesque lovely views of Themes Barge's Great walks. Lovely room very comfortable. Great atmosphere in the bar .Excellent Breakfast. Great price highly recommend! Warning parking could be a problem. warden giving out tickets at 9am!

no parking. no towels, no bin not suitable for people who are unsteady on their feet. Due to age of building . Noisy due to the kitchen extractor , by our room window. and i think a boiler. But it is cheap

A good stopover in a quaint english pub. Nice lady to show me round. Disappointing that I couldnt get a pint after work ie 10pm, tho that seems the norm around Maldon at this time of year.

What an amazing fined, a random decision for a couple of nights away for the new year. What a quirky place, fantastic staff amazing breakfast and there main menu all at great prices. Ciarian, went out of his way, service with a smile, along with Ben and the manager Thank you for a lovely stay highly recommend you and hopefully we will return in the summer.

Location excellent however accommodation needs total refurbishment. Cleanliness an issue and although old property we felt a good deep clean was needed. We could also hear mice or something scuttling within walls which was very unsettling.

Myself and 2 mates stayed at the Jolly Sailor Fish on the Quay last night. We received a very friendly welcome and were shown immediately to our rooms. Excellent and very old Pub with a historical feel - especially the staircase up to the rooms !!
