"positiv: host is very kind view is exceptionnel (straight view of the mont ventoux) no direct neighbour quiet neighbourhood great pool 11m long House outside looks like on the pictures. negativ: more than 5min walk to get to the center of Vaison-la-Romaine beds are not very comfortable ( mattress maybe too old?) air conditioning is only one unit! Not enough to keep the temperature pleasant. Above all when there are 40+ degrees…even at 30+ the air conditioning had some problems to cool down....

"We had a great stay here. The home had everything we needed and was bright, clean, well decorated, and conveniently located. We traveled with my one year old and Vincent kindly set up a crib for us and made a high chair available. He was also quick to respond when we had questions and came to the rescue when one of my group dropped a piece of jewelry down one of the sinks! "We loved our stay at Fred's house. Fred is great with communication. He responds really quickly to my texts. His house is located at the base of the medieval village, about 3 minutes from the Roman bridge. It takes no time to get anywhere in Vaison from this house. My husband and I took trips to different places every day, but loved coming back to the house, sitting on the little balcony and watch all the action on the street. I loved the view as well."

Pool was dirty and not cleaned by the hosts despite being there for 14 days 4.garden chairs so old likely to break at any time. Host did not respond to any of our comments/complaints. Escalated through VRBO and still no attempt by host to rectify in terms of apology or partial refund. Very expensive for what it it. Needs care and upgrading."

The accommodation was up a flight of steps, the place looked like a 1980 time share, just needed tlc, having said that, it had living room/kitchenette, separate bedroom and bathroom. The balcony overlooked the swimming pool and open area, and views of a golf course. Very quiet area. Bed was comfortable and clean, linen and towels were sufficient. No on-site restaurant or shop."
