Metro Pines Inn

3.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very Good, (235)
"The location is fantastic. You need to go up to the third floor for the hotel lobby. Fortunately they have an elevator. It’s congested as your right in the heartbeat of the city. The main attractions, parks and shopping is literally across the street. It’s a little hazardous attempting to cross the road as there are no real sidewalks "

"Our first time to stay in this hotel and our expectations were not met. Hotel was quiet despite the season, safe and tranquil. Customer service was average. Checking in was slow but efficient, checking out was a hassle (took 30 minutes to do so at 5:30am). Imagine entering your hotel room with a random person’s phone charging by the bathroom (finding out later that it’s the room cleaner’s, no apologies given). They even forgot to provide us free drinking water which they tried to charge us upon...

"The staff was very attentive. Due to a food allergy there was a need for special food preparation. Do to a miscommunication There was a mishap in the kitchen, however the staff took ownership and special precautions to ensure guests safety. It did take over an hour and a half to get a food order for 5. Under normal circumstances, this would not have been concerning except for we had traveled a great distance that day and hadn’t stopped for food."

Lenox Hotel

"Paying extra for breakfast is worthwhile; the beef tapa breakfast and bacon breakfast are very good. Be aware that cleaning will not take place without the customer present in the room. It's always hot in the Philippines; the hotel leaves windows open to common areas instead of using A/C, so bugs sometimes get in. The dining area had flies."

"Hotel was good but service was lacking. Front desk people and staff are not on th same page. For example, It took hours to receive complimentary bottled waters we asked for, our entire 3 day stay. Sometimes, the bottles never came. They even charged for a bucket of ice (it's only frozen water). The hotel itself was nice.and very affordable. But i guess you get what you pay for with service. The restaurant downstairs was amazing thought. The food is authentic Chinese and the servers were...
