"I was on a business trip, my associate suggested this hotel and arranged for a private driver so i really didn't spend much time in the hotel. The staff was friendly, the place clean and the morning buffet is quite good. The room price is good, i used Expedia to book it. This property is next to a couple of malls which was good when my phone charger died, samsung is in the mall. One thing that is probably a problem for most people is the 4 am Muslim prayers blasting across the city. This happens 5 times per day. Otherwise i felt safe in the area."

"This is an outstanding Hotel! By far the best and nicest hotel we have stayed at in Indonesia. It is filled with fascinating antiques. The staff bends over backwards and the food in the restaurant was excellent with a huge selection. One person in our party had to go to the hospital and the hotel could not have been more helpful accommodating. They let us feed the fish and the rooms even have a beautiful bathtub. "

"I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel this feedback is necessary. Unfortunately, my stay was far from pleasant. It felt like an online date gone wrong: the pictures looked charming and clean, but what I encountered was shocking. To start with the positives: the hotel has potential. It is spacious, modern, and offers wonderful outdoor seating by the pool alongside a lovely Balinese restaurant. However, cleanliness was a major issue and I’m not exaggerating. From the moment I entered, it was clear that the hotel hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly in a long time. The floors were dirty, the windows smudged and while that might be excusable to some extent, the condition of the room was completely unacceptable. The room appeared untouched since the last guest’s departure. There were insects crawling on the bed, hair everywhere (on the bed, the floor and in the bathroom) and a brown stain on the duvet that made me feel sick to my stomach. The bathroom was equally bad: the sink was yellowed and covered in limescale, the faucet barely produced water, and the toilet was simply unhygienic. To the hotel: You have so much potential to run a fantastic hotel. The structure and amenities are there, but cleanliness must become a priority. Please consider hiring a professional cleaning team. Additionally, having staff who can communicate in basic English would make a world of difference for international guests. I truly hope to see improvements in future. For now, I can’t recommend. "
