"I went to Paris for a trade show for my company (Wine Paris). 1. Many elements of the room were broken (closet door, light fixture missing a bulb cover etc.); 2. the walls are paper thin and I could hear someone coughing in their room down the hall (not just next to me). I was on the 3rd floor, someone was smoking out of their window on the 2nd floor although it is a non smoking hotel. I waited until that person stopped smoking to see if the smell would dissipate.
