"Stayed in Karin and Willibrord's guest house the evening before this year's Westfriesland 70.3. It was so peaceful and relaxing and they were so welcoming and friendly. It felt like a home away from home. I'll make sure to stay here if I come back to race again!"

"Het concept ,slapen in de bedstee en het thema(Friesland vroeger) is origineel. De badkamer met orinele "poepdoos" (wel met gewoon doortrekmechanisme) is verder erg basic, evenals de kamer,geen kast om iets op te bergen b.v. Het bed was hard de kussens ook .Omdat er geen ramen naar buiten zijn vonden wij de kamer niet zo fris als we gewend zijn. Locatie is prima evenals het ontbijt. Samengevat, leuk bedacht maar voor ons niet voor herhaling vatbaar."

"We stayed in middelgroenden 16 at the beach resort makkum. The resort itself is a good place to stay. Friendly staff, lots of playgrounds, boat and bike rental and you can walk to the beach. Sadly, Our rental property wasn't that great. The interior looks dated, there were a lot of stains on the carpet and the curtains. There were 3 bedrooms but only 2 closets..the kitchen was poorly equipped. We would like to return to the beach resort makkum,, but we will make sure to book another property."
