"Perfect for a group of friends with kids. The large fireplace was a big draw for us and it did not disappoint (though be sure to bring plenty of firewood to keep the flame going). We enjoyed playing in the snow with the kids out on the frozen lake and even found some nice Superior Hiking Trail hikes nearby, which were wonderful in the snow. Would absolutely stay again. "

"The trip was amazing, largely because of the amazing home we stayed in. Everything was wonderful. There are multiple spaces for kids to spend time. There are activities for them to do, and large hang out spaces including a huge dinning room table! The house is clean, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are big, and the linens are fresh. The host is amazing! So helpful and kind! We can't wait for next year!!"

"While the building is old and a bit out of date, we found everything clean and in working condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful, glad to answer questions and advise on road conditions. The breakfast was very nice. We even got a cookie on our way out in the morning! We enjoyed our stay, and would stay here again."
