"We came to the area to spend New Years Eve with our son at Southern Illinois University. The location is perfect - close enough to Carbondale for convenience, but just far enough from the city to be a comfortable, peaceful place to stay. The cabin was clean, spacious and well appointed. Being able to take our small dog with us was an added benefit."

"The location was good and I like to bow hunt and they have good deer hunting in the area. My wife enjoyed her stay also, we went to a winery just a few miles away and enjoyed that also. We plan on going again next year. "
