It was a great alternative to a standard hotel room.
Just 15mins from Alto Pass was perfect. We had a cozy stay in the Merica themed cabin, quiet, clean & pet friendly. Great communication from the host made our stay easy & stress free.
The cabin was nice. It had enough room for me to relax in after a day with family or in Shawnee National Forest. The area felt very safe and there was no ouside noise. I will stay there again.
Scrupulous cleanliness, thick towels and toilet paper, a comfortable bed, Americana decor and a well equipped kitchen lent to a general air of welcome and comfort. We enjoyed the benefit of the kitchenette and grill, walked in the golf course and used the opportunity to see Giant City, the John A. Logan museum in Murphysburo and to lunch in Anna with our son. Steve, the cabin host, was very easy to communicate with as well.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the cabin đ loved the location and atmosphere. The cabin was so cozy and not far from the state park. The basket of snacks were perfect! We will definitely be going back!! â¤ď¸
Nice simple clean 1 bedroom with a sofa bed to stay in while exploring the Shawnee National Forest & the Shawnee Wine Trail. Safe area close to main roads. FYI--no oven for cooking but includes a nice BBQ grill on the patio.
This place was absolutely amazing, very clean, super nice, check in was no hassle, host was very attentive and responsive to any questions. the cabin was beautiful. Close to lots of hiking and things we wanted to do. Will definitely will be returning.
Our stay at Cabin Creek Cabins was a wonderful experience. It was more than we expected and very relaxing. The construction of the cabins inside and out, along with the interior decor was beautiful. We enjoyed being surrounded by nature. The host is very gracious.
Nice little cabin. Did not realize from the listing that it was a duplex but worked out ok for us. Nice little grillâno stove, just a microwave so plan for that. âQueenâ bed ran small and the heads was loose and noisy. Overall enjoyed our stay and would come back.
A very nice cabin. Quiet, clean, nicely furnished, convenient access to Carbondale. In Cabin#6, nice morning sun through windows. Everything worked well. Bed was very comfortable, didn't take very long for hot water to come out of faucet shower (very nice during this colder time of year). The basket of snacks was a nice unexpected surprise. Tap water tasted great.
This was a great isolated spot to stay during our three day camp. Its close to most places I needed to be but away from the busy traffic. The cabin is very nice and well kept. I didnât realize there isnât an electric oven until I arrived. I learned to cook bacon and eggs in a microwave. :). They have a nice gas grill on the balcony. They put a lot of work into making this a great place to stay. Right down to the Citronella candle on the outdoor table. I will return next year. The price is much kore reasonable compared to a motel. Thank you for a great experience!
So pleased! Communication was great! Very accommodating. They have everything all the way down to dishsoap. They even provided a small basket of snacks. There's also a guest journal to write down your adventures. Very clean and EXACTLY as described in words and photos. Cooking includes propane grill (propane is provided), microwave and crockpot. This was my first time renting a non-hotel/motel and i will definitely come back here! Price is VERY worth the stay! I stayed alone and went hiking on my trip. I checked out the local town and surrounding hiking, EVERYONE i encountered was very kind :)
This stress free environment/cabin, provided me with CONFIDENCE so i could enjoy my trip CAREFREE. Thank you so much! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
