"Staff was very friendly and helpful. We missed breakfast by 5 mins and they accomodated us with everything they had just cleaned and were so friendly about it. It was secluded behind another building so that was just a little uneasy but other than that, we would stay again. Room was clean."

Nope, not a golf course, this is a shot of Mound City. A collection of 22 earthen mounds of varying heights and sizes made by the Hopewell Indians over 2000 years ago. The mounds were threatened by the construction of Camp Sherman in 1917 to train troops for WWI. Today the site is managed by the National Park Services.

Relaxing stay

"We had a great stay at the cabin; it was very clean and well stocked. The forest view from the private deck is very nice and so peaceful. The cabin location was very near to several Hocking Hills hikes, and we also enjoyed a few of the local wineries and restaurants on our relaxing weekend. Definitely would recommend this stay to others!"

Great cozy secluded place to stay

"Great place for couples to stay! My partner and I had a fantastic time there using the hot tub everyday and were close enough to Hocking Hills area that the drive from there really didn't bother us. Only things we noticed was that the hot tub might need a chlorine refresh and they could benefit from a roach spraying soon...we noticed one that would come out in the kitchen and had seen another dead one elsewhere. Bugs are to be expected with cabin properties and we aren't bothered easily, just kept the food cleaned up. Other than that, bed was comfy, games on hand, the grill is nice, and the overlook of the creek is fantastic. Great stay."

April 2025 family spring break fun

"Our family of four (kids 12 and 14) plus our dog really enjoyed this cabin. It was clean, well-appointed, spacious, and private. The basement with games and pool table was great, as well as the hot tub and fire pit. Great access to many hikes as short as 15 minutes away. The host is also very prompt with responses to any questions. Definitely recommend! "

Luxury Lodge in Hocking Hills ~Hot tub~Fireplace

A fun quick stay

"We really enjoyed our time at this property. Host was communicative and accommodating and check in/out were smooth and simple. This house seems like it gets a lot of use, but was clean and comfortable overall. We were surprised that there is no real oven, just a large countertop convection/toaster oven, which worked fine for our needs. We appreciated the plentiful dishes and cutlery, but otherwise the kitchen furnishings are pretty basic. The "fun barn" kept the kids busy and entertained, and we really enjoyed the fire pit area out back!"

Beautiful cabin remote but close

"Loved the cabin. Beautiful stay and surroundings. Would recommend highly for a couple get away. A 20-30 min drive to popular hiking but worth it! "
