The property was in a good location and provided parking (which you had to pay for). It was clean and larger than most of the places we have stayed before in Maiori. It has a nice shower but you had to take care not to get the floor soaking wet. Because it was basically street level it was noisy in the evening hours. Overall we would stay there again.

When we checked in, we were given a room on the backside of the property. Noisiest place I've been to yet. Luckily, the next day I was able to convince them to upgrade our room to another room which kind of had an ocean view. Moral of the story, you get what you pay for.

The apartment was recently renovated and all the furniture and qitchen ustensils were new. I also like the position of the apartment, near the bus station and 10 minutes from port and the seaview. The receptionist was very kind and helped us with a lot of information.

The property was clean, spacious, and had a wonderful view. The staff was very helpful with providing local activity suggestions. They also recommended taking the ferry between Solerno and Maiori. This provides excellent views from the water and is the most cost effective transportation

One of the worst stays we have ever had, was so bad we booked a new place after the first night. From the attitude, lack of service, a/c not cooling anything and the super loud street sounds it was a nightmare. Hotel Francesco was on the other had the total opposite. More money but definitely worth it

Make sure you fixed sea view option with balcony, otherwise you will get ground floor or view on garbage bins. Matrasses are terrible with springs hurting your bones. Very noisy.

The apartment is old, but is big with all closets and shelves. And it is well equipped with all household needs in the kitchen.you can cook your meal and store fruit and grocery in a big refrigerator. Their beds are very uncomfortable, you can feel springs under your body. It has washing machine which happened to be handy for us since we were at the end of our vacation and took advantage of laundry. There is an office next door which is hard to find people there, and the apartment is across the sea and by the bus stop. Only thing is not good that they don't have housekeeping, and if you do cooking you should clean up after yourself. Also wifi has bad connection

Many things wrong with this property. -the bed was the worst bed you can buy on the market. Aboslutely no cushion, just springs. Left red pressure marks all over me and my wifes body. -communication with staff is unacceptable. I usually received answers within 24-36 hours. -ran out of toilet paper, so i had to purchase my own. -no cloths to wash dishes, no hand soap in the bathroom, no dish soap. All of these items, i had to go purchase myself. Over all, we did not enjoy our stay at this property.

Town is fantastic... apartment is OK
Not so easy to connect with someone via the local phone number. We did end up finding someone in the office after arriving and they let us in to our rental. Everything was clean and the view of the sea was beautiful from the window. Beds were really uncomfortable- felt all the springs! Unfortunately, you hear EVERYTHING when inside. We heard a very passionate exchange through our bedroom that sounded like we were in the same room! The town is beautiful though, so if you aren't spending much time in your apartment, you should be good.

This place is located a street away from the beach. Good location. The place has some smell inside (I am not sure if thats some fragrance but I prefer it doesnt have it). The floor has those smooth finishing tiles, which makes it feels like the floor is sticky. It is well equipped; cookware, towels, shampoo & etc but i guess the "sticky" floor spoils it. The building (and the room) looks a bit dark which gives a bit of those eerie abandon building feel. Otherwise, the reception is friendly & location is excellent.

Great place, great view, excellent friendly staff
This was a great location and hotel room. We stayed in the 3 bedroom with sea view and the place is huge, rooms were clean and the view was great. It's near the end of the main strip which was nice because it wasn't quite as busy but an easy walk to the boardwalk where the main restaurants were. It's right across from the beach and it has a beautiful terrace that you can sit on for relaxation. It has parking which is also key.

The apartment was clean and spacious. Check-in was no problem as the office was open. The kitchen was somewhat under-equipped - if you intend to do a lot of cooking then bring a sharp knife, dishcloths and tea towels as none were provided. We had problems with the air conditioning and made for one very uncomfortable night and the proprietor didn't respond to out of hours contact. There was nowhere comfortable to sit except for the beds. Overall the value for money compared to two hotel rooms was good.

Close to beach, but major difficulties
The hotel is in an excellent location right on the water. The rooms were acceptable. We had only minor issues with the room itself, including wet linens still in the washing machine, lack of toilet paper, and some wrappers still in the garbage can. The major issues during our stay involved getting in touch with the staff. I messaged the hotel prior to my arrival to confirm a 4:00 PM check-in time. They confirmed, yet at 4:00 PM on the day of our check-in no one was at the hotel. I called the hotel and knocked on the office door but no one answered. At 4:30 I called Expedia, but while I was on the phone a staff member came out of the office to see if we needed anything. He was completely unaware that we were checking in, asked to see my confirmation, and finally called his boss to check us in. The staff was friendly but offered no explanation for the check-in delay. After checking in, I was given an alternate hotel number and told to call the day before check out to set up a check out time. Although the website had a 10 AM check-out listed, I was told that I could call to set up a different time if needed. The day before check-out, I called and texted the number given as well as the general hotel number repeatedly. I also messaged through Expedia but was never able to reach anyone. We waited outside the office the morning of our check-out and finally saw someone going in. We also finally received a text response from the number provided that morning. Very stressful.

Very good stay in Maiori Casa Vacanza
The location is perfect for beach access and local shops including 3 markets for convenient access. The apartments are in process of being renovated so once all completed will be more updated. In general good set up and would stay there again but would be even more fabulous with an update.
