"The host was very nice and spoke good English. Our room was cramped and somewhat dated. The toilet was separate from shower area and both doors had to be closed to navigate around the bed. Breakfast was great. There was a close-by restaurant where we had a dinner. It was really very nice for the price!"

"This is the Bed and Breakfast you read about - a quiet French neighborhood less than ten minutes driving time from Chartres Center. The hosts are delightful with lots of suggestions on anything you may be interested in. The garden outside is idyllic and an oasis. "This b&b is in a good location close to Chartres, with an attractive building and garden, and plenty of secure parking. However, access to the rooms, set in an upper floor inserted into an old barn, is by steep and narrow stairs. The rooms have thin walls and the cheapest possible fittings, especially in the bathroom which did not even have a shower fitted to the wall but just an attachment to the bath taps. "Ce séjour de trois jours a été un moment de rêve! Tout y était, sauf la météo: il a plu juste au moment du repas samedi, ce qui nous a empêcher de déjeuner dehors dans ce magnifique jardin. Mais heureusement les grands espaces intérieurs ont permis à chacun de s'installer confortablement. Nous avons tous été sous le charme de cette grande maison familiale aménagée avec goût .
