"What a stunning cottage in the most beautiful area! And I cannot recommend Adrian and his daughter as hosts enough. The cottage was perfect for our family celebrations, had everything we needed, was very comfortable and clean with fans provided for the warmer nights too, bonus! Also noted heaps of extra blankets for colder months too, nice touch. And the views were beautiful! We were lucky to have full use of all the areas as we were the only guests, we chose the allocated farmhouse BBQ area...

"Purcombe Farmhouse is a gem. It provides comfortable and very well equipped accommodation, suitable for all ages - our family group were aged 66 down to 1yr and we all had a wonderful week there. Lovely gardens to explore and the hot tub was a definite plus later at night! This property is so peaceful and with stunning views, yet only a 10 minute drive from Bridport"

"This is not the Ritz - but there are some really good points - it's lovely and quiet - so a good sleep was easy. Take your own towels - ones provided were not great - I would also say take your own bedding. One major for a couple is the double is on a mezz and the toilet is down stairs - this didn't effect me as I was on my own so slept in the single room downstairs. Owner is lovely - and my stay in Sherborne very nice. Lovely place."

"Perfect for our visit. In the area for a wedding and it really filled the bill for my wife, myself, our son and daughter and our young granddaughter. Co-op store across the street. Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane. Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity. Great communication with the owner and easy access to the property. "
