Hotel: standard Toyoko inn so clean, and has everything you need for a nice stay including breakfast which has a nice variety so you’ll find something you like. Room: typical style for this chain hotel. Clean, fresh, with bathroom and shower unit. These rooms are the typical size which is fine.bed was comfortable. Food etc was all about 5 mins away. Plenty around the train station for people to enjoy. Hikone castle was an easy 15 ish minute walk away. The view at the castle was simply breathtaking as it looks out over the city but also Lake Biwa and it was a beautiful day so the view was amazing and it’s HIGHLY worth the visit just for the view. Castle and grounds will look amazing soon coming into spring as they have a plum orchard as well as cherry blossoms. Highly recommend the hotel and Hikone."

"I stayed in a room with two large beds and one extra portable bed to accommodate three people. The room is quite spacious and in good condition. The rest room is clean, with a bath tub and in good condition. The staff is friendly and helpful. A family mart is right next to the hotel. The hotel is very close to JR and Metisu Station. The hotel is also close to several bus stops. My stay in this hotel is pleasant; highly recommend this to visitors with family if you could get the big rooms. "
