"What a great place! A lot of historic charm and wildlife on the grounds - the staff were amazingly kind and gracious. Reception team was warm and welcoming. Excellent hot showers. In passing conversation, my husband mentioned that the Lake Naivasha Country club was where he proposed to me 25 years ago. The operations manager Danep somehow noted this and a few hours later at dinner arranged to have a beautiful cake made that said "marry me again". It was such a thoughtful touch! We will definitely be back!"

"Overall we had a pleasant stay. When we arrived they could not find our reservation, this does not surprise me because it was hard booking a room online or getting someone to respond to my emails. I finally booked a room on Expedia yet they still did not see my reservation. However, the staff was kind and did give us a room, we only had to wait a few minutes. There is no iron in the room so make sure you are prepared for that. There are also no wash clothes provided. And mostly there is going to be just 1 towel in the room. The cost of the room does include meals and the food was good. The stay was nice and the staff is friendly and helpful."
