"Lovely wooden bedroom on stilts with mosquito net and friendly host, who came to meet us off the bus. Toilet and shower basic tho the water was hot. Near to the Karaoke bars! No towels and initially no toilet roll. Expensive compared to other places with better facilities."

"It is rather hard to get to Mai Chau but we think it is worth a visit. Staff is really friendly and nice but their English is not that good so google translate was a great help. Place is charming, comfortable but a bit basic.. The scenery is breathtaking and they lend you bicycle for a ride…which we did! It was hard work but SO so worth it! The pool is very handy and cold (for a change) so just the ticket when it is so hot! ‘The breakfast is a bit basic but it’s in a very remote area. Not for everyone but a really lovely spot. Will remember the lovely staff and the magical scenery! "
