"This is the ideal location for a family getaway no matter the weather. Hosts Scott and Diane were incredibly friendly. They suggested a nearby bush walk with an amazing view which was walkable from the property grounds. The house was well outfitted, clean and welcoming. On our good weather day we got out on the ocean. (They provide kayaks and safety vests). The next day we stayed indoors and played pool, table tennis and enjoyed movies. "Patrick was an absolutely wonderful host and the arrival process was smooth and easy! It was the most stunning location with a lot of space for the seven of us that stayed. Unfortunately it rained most of our stay so we are hoping to stay again to get to spend some time outside on the property. One thing to note is that the property is completely off-grid. We loved this aspect but definitely worth knowing that there is just one composting toilet and one shower when you have a big group!...

"A new, well presented and well proportioned home for family of five (plus dog). Light and clean inside with large deck outside. Reasonably well equipped, though light on cups and good sized glasses, and no microwave (noting this wasn’t listed). For us it suited that the location meant there were no near neighbours but, at the same time, the property grounds and driveway were a bit of a building site and not yet developed. A delight to have the wild turkey and chicks roaming in the long grass."

"Dragonfly barn was a fantastic place to stay, beautiful surroundings and the well appointed accommodation had everything you could possibly need. Close to the airport and to Kerikeri township. Very kind Hosts who left a greeting gift. I would stay there again for sure."

"Get away for the long weekend (Labour Weekend). Was a lovely spot of paradise and the hosts were very helpful and friendly. Only thing to mention was that there was no TV, which wouldn't have mattered so much if the All Blacks weren't playing on one of the nights that we stayed. Otherwise highly recommend. "

"Awesome view /location and good access to the beach. The house wasn't as clean as expected, and there was limited comfy seating in the lounge, we had to use outdoor bean bags inside. Traffic from highway behind the house was very noisy and trucks shake the house. Quite expensive for what you get. No dishwasher and only 1 rubbish bag provided for family for a week stay. The washing machine only did hot washes and there was no drier. This all made the holiday not as relaxing as we would have...

"Upon arrival, we were greeted by Jackie, who was friendly, personable and so welcoming. We were welcomed with a beverage of choice, which was a pleasant surprise. Our room was clean, very spacious, well decorated and very comfortable. Close enough to town and driveable to many tourist sites. Would highly recommend this property."
