The highlight, of course, is the proximity to the park itself. Waking up to the sounds of the jungle and then heading out for a safari is an experience that’s hard to beat. After a day of exploration, the campsite offers a peaceful retreat with delicious meals. The food is freshly prepared, and the chef does a fantastic job. The whole team is wonderful; so gracious and do their best to meet every request, always with a smile. Overall, Yala Safari Camping offers an excellent balance of adventure, nature, and comfort. Whether you’re a wildlife enthusiast or just looking for a unique getaway, it’s a fantastic option that provides an authentic and memorable safari experience. It is beyond magical. "We enjoyed our stay at Cinnamon Wild Yala. We did the stargazing with Kasun. We saw the moon and Saturn and enjoyed the view and the discussion with Kasun. Glad we did this activity! We also went on a nature walk with Gayan Gamage on the 16th of october 2024, and it was absolutely amazing. He was super friendly and knew a lot about the nature and the tracking of the animals. It was very interesting, and we saw a lot of the local animals. We hightly recommend this to anyone who likes the nature and animals. Gayan was friendly and easy to talk to and we had a great time! He was also very good at involving the children and our daughter loved him and wanted a picture taken with him after the tour :)"

"Really nice play and very affordable. Staff were very friendly and booked us a cultural tour which was brillant. We had breakfast which was very nice and nice restaurants are within walking distance."

"The manager and staff were super nice which is really what made our stay. They went over and beyond to make us comfortable. The facilities are average but some of it does need an update as the A/C units are really loud and the curtains aren't in great condition. Also the Wi-Fi didn't work in the rooms and so to use Wi-Fi you need to go to the common area which in the evenings gets a TON of mosquitoes so that wasn't idea. But the pool was nice and landscaping was well-maintained. "
