"Casa da Laxa was exactly what we were hoping for and more. The location is so tranquil tucked into a hill on the edge of temperate rainforest. Checking in was very smooth and the house very spacious and equipped with everything you might need. We headed out to visit castros, petroglyphs and hot springs but also spent plenty of time wending our way through the forest and the largely abandoned village, visiting the local river pool and sitting outside the local bar. The perfect getaway."

"The view is breathtaking, the pool large and the house huge - in summer, the three (!) sitting rooms are not really necessary. But the outside area, with the large roofed (and thus shady) terrace was great."

"We had a very pleasant week here despite mixed weather. The large living/dining room was perfect for family meals, chilling and playing games. Lovely large garden. Local walks and trips to Ponteverde and Illas Cies. "
