"Came for a solo retreat for a few days and had an outstanding time! The view from the deck is by far the highlight, with amazing views of the valley and cliffs during the day and silent, serene stargazing at night. The house is very clean with no bugs or signs of age, and everything feels well-kept and cozy.Cooked several meals in the kitchen, which is very well equipped. Brought a lot of my supplies in, but was very pleasantly surprised to find coffee, tea, and some spices already stored. The only things I were unable to find were a potato peeler and a strainer, but these were both minor missing pieces. The bed in the master suite is very comfortable and the suite in general is very cozy. The extra TV space is an amazing touch, which I can see being especially good for families with children/teens who want to send their kids away while sitting in the living room/patio. I do wish there was space for a TV in the living room, although I like not having it in there by default. But given that there’s a spare tv in the master closet, having space to place it should you want to get it out would be awesome. The only thing even close to negative is that the shower is very small. While this worked just fine for me (an average height/weight man), this may be a drawback for larger/taller individuals or people with claustrophobia. That being said, the bathroom is extremely clean and well put together.Absolutely loved my time here and plan on returning in the near future!"

"A small farm environment. Very quiet location. There was a lovely electric fireplace for ambiance, and cooking basics, utensils, and ICE in the freezer! The bed was great! The cabin was immaculate, and a great combination of connected buildings with doors between bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom. This gave us the ability to confine our dogs to one or 2 rooms, and bring in their dog kennels for "safe sleeping".Of course we never left them alone in the house. :-) We were attending dog competition activities in the Socorro area.The livestock paddocks were an excellent place to exercise the dogs, who are young and energetic. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you!"
