"We had a delightful time in this home!! We were greeted by a wonderful basket of goodies, slept in comfy beds and enjoyed the small touches of hospitality throughout the bedrooms/bathrooms. Everything was super clean with new flooring throughout !! We enjoyed sitting outside under the pines while our pup could wander around wherever she wanted in the large fenced backyard. We will definitely return!! A five star place for sure!!"

"It is certainly a cozy cabin with all you need. Located close to a lot of restaurants and things to do, it was also quiet. Not a sign of cockroaches to reference the last review. "

"Had a great time at the property. Plenty of room. Great recreation opportunities - Golfing and hiking. Chester is a fun little town. Not all the crowds you get in many other areas"

"Nice and cozy older home located between Mt. Lassen and Lake Almanor. Good quiet place with spacious bedrooms. It's an older home so don't expect anything fancy, but it has all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Owner was very nice a helpful. We'll definitely be returning in the future."

"My son and I were in town to check out Cal State Chico and the location of the property was minutes away from the campus. We were able to get a good lay of the land while we mere there while enjoying the comfort and attention to detail in the house! Walking into the house after a 7 1/2 hour drive from Orange County and walking out of the 103 degree heat into the air conditioning and ceiling fans was heaven!! "Nice place. Bed was very comfortable. It was quiet. You didn't hear a bunch of kids screaming up and down the hallways or a bunch of doors opening and closing or people in the hallway talking wild on the way of the room. It was overall a very good stay"
