"We recently got back from a 6 week trip to Thailand and Cambodia. The Burn Resort, just outside Chiang Rai, stood out as the nicest place we stayed in Northern Thailand. It is an absolute hidden gem! We stayed a couple nights at another hotel in Chiang Rai proper (convenient but meh) and then a couple nights here and so glad we did! Our villa and the grounds are gorgeous! The staff and the food were wonderful. It is a bit out of the way, so not the spot if you are short on time and want to walk to the markets and restaurants. But they are happy to help you set up day trips to the many sights in the area. Highly recommended!"

"If you are enthusiastic about flowers and nature and beauty, this is the place to go. You also have a Ricefield right in the front of the hotel the views and the grounds are absolutely spectacular. You can get a newer bungalow which has a little more of the better amenities, the older ones if you’re wanting to stay in a rustic Thai Cabinet room, but there is one with the hot tub that is lovely and a bathtub that overlooks the grounds they are very helpful there and they serve you breakfast. Anytime you want in your room and dinner as well. This is an extremely romantic place to go, but also lovely as a single soul traveller as well. "

"This homestay was absolutely excellent. Perfect in every way, especially for a nice romantic getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Sitting on the back patio with your loved one(s) and watching a sunrise and the shadow of the mountains behind you during the sunset is absolutely incredible. At night time you can also see some fireflies come up onto the porch if you are patient. The hot tub is an INCREDIBLE spot to relax. I also highly recommend going into the village around the homestay. There are some incredible lunch and coffee spots on Doi Mae Mon that shouldn't be missed. There are also a couple convenience shops around if you need a few things you may have forgotten to bring with you. Not quite 7 eleven but more charming. I'll remember this stay for the rest of my life and if I'm ever in the area again I'll definitely be back!"
