"Hostal that feels like a hotel. Beautiful location, very comfortable beds and a lot of very nice small details in the room that improve your stay. Free guide to explore the town and surroundings. The only (minor) bad part was that wifi did not really work in the room (not even after the stormy weather). "

"Large hotel in outskirts of Don Benito, perfect for a travel stopover, great pool but had to find loungers and set the up ourselves, also no pool towels offered, we had to negotiate with reception. Breakfast limited and crowded. "

"This is a creepy little hotel in a creepy little town. Looks like it might be quaint in the pictures, but it is not. Went to the "front desk" to check in and no other guests seemed to be around. A group of loud men who looked like locals were drinking in the bar off to one side of the lobby. We were shown to a room in a building across the street from the main hotel building. The room had a dank musty smell and that was all we needed to decide to go into Trujillo 10 Km up the road to find...

"One night stay. We loved this place because of how friendly they were. . It is not expensive, nor should it be. We had a basic room with two beds and a bath. A pleasant view out the window. The room was a second floor walk up but staff kindly helped with luggage. Staff was exceptional. The restaurant downstairs was well attended by locals at breakfast mid day and dinner. "The hotel itself is fantastic with its patio garden, wonderful sun terrace and lovely rooms but the owners were away for our stay so we had no bar or restaurant, and the swimming pool was covered over. We were let in and told we had to find our own food in the village which is harder than it sounds on a Sunday in Spain. We did find a little shop where we could buy some snacks and cans of drink for the afternoon and we were able to get an evening meal at the only bar which was open and serving...

"Good location, great views, interesting area for walking and birds. The seating area outside the apartment would be a lovely place to relax with a glass of wine but when we were there it was too cold! Berzocana is a delightful village with rustic pub and bars, and a helpful village website. We look forward to coming again in better weather. Unfortunately it was chilly but the owner offered us some extra heaters which made a big difference."

"We stayed for 2 weeks in one of the apartments for 2. The studio had everything you needed with a good sized comfy bed. The kitchen ( we had the studio with the separate kitchen) had a good size fridge . The pool area was lovely and our little terrace had lovely views down to the villiage...we would definitely return if in the area again but stay in one of the larger houses that are detached"
