Great location, short walk to centre
This property was comfortable and well presented.
It is located in an area that is very close to the centre and main rail station.
This part of Madrid can be quite loud during the day but not too bad at night, so didn't need ear plugs.
But if you are walking back to the apartment late, there are people walking the streets so stick to the main streets and avoid the shortcuts.
Below the apartment is a really nice Cafe, great Coffee and food. It seems to open about 8am.
At the end of one street is a couple of large supermarkets (The Carrefour is 24/7).
And the other end of the street is an historical library and food market. Plenty of options for food and drinks in the area.
Kettle, Hairdryer, iron, cutlery/crockery, bedding and towels were provided.
The mattress is a firm memory foam, up on a mezzanine, that you need to climb a steep ladder to get to.
Climbing down could be difficult if you need to at night.
It is also built within the roof wooden beams, so you can't really stand up and need to keep low.
The curtains are really good and black out all of the light.
There is a view out to the roof tops of the a joining buildings but nothing else.
The bathroom is very small but as long as your are not 6ft high or over half a metre wide you'll be fine ;)
Checking in and out was very easy once I had been messaged the instructions.
The owner was very responsive and friendly over the Vrbo app.
