Great hotel in the very heart of Alcala. Older, historical building but kept up very nicely and comfortable. Right next to the university, the Plaza de Cervantes and the Calle Mayor. Location is absolutely perfect. Highly recommended!

This hotel has tons of character and charm. Had a really comfortable stay. Didn’t eat in the restaurant but it looked lovely. The staff were caring and helpful. We had two bicycles which they were able to look after in the basement. Fantastic location too!

The hotel is located in the city center, next to the Pl. de Cervantes, convenient and beautiful architecture. The room is nice and comfortable. The staff are friendly. One of the best hotels to stay in Alcalá!

Location wonderful for everything and so pretty. Good access to trains to Madrid if needed too. Internet really bad, and not really much to watch in TV. Rooms are basic and rustic and overlooking the University. Showers OK but ‘compact’. If the internet is not an issue, then I would recommend this place. Service in cafeteria can be hit and miss but it is good value.

This is a very charming hotel with lovely views of the Cisneriana University. Everyone is very nice, but I really love Estefania. She is very sweet and effective. I always come back to this hotel because I feel at home.

It’s a nice older hotel in the main center of Alcala. It was warm outside but the air conditioner inside the room worked well. Parking can be a little confusing if you’re from out of town but there are some 24 hour parking lots about a quarter-mile away that I found at a very reasonable rate. I will definitely stay here again.

Quaint little old hotel in the middle of the most beautiful amazing historic square. While not the most modern facility (thin walls and a noisy elevator) we found it very comfortable and convenient— and the staff was terrific. Look for the storks on the rooftops around the square.

Definitely a unique location and hotel. Perfect size room with a desk, TV, mini fridge. It is an old building that has been maintained incredibly well. It is in an area that has many little shops and restaurants, patisseries and tapa bars. The only complaint is that it is about a 25 minute cab drive from the train station. we were not able to figure out a great option for traveling by the metro/bus system.

Cannot beat the location and the beautiful historic building. The staff are very friendly and on top of things. Bed and pillows are comfortable and the restaurant is amazing. My only negative is the noise level. You can hear absolutely everything outside and inside, even with earplugs. It was okay for a couple of nights but the sleep quality was quite poor.
