The room was basic but just perfect for a short stay, close to the centre to walk, there is also a Metro less than a 10 minute walk away. Local coffee shops close by for breakfast. Would recommend it if you just want a room as a base.

The staff was friendly and the place was clean. The building itself was in poor condition. There is no elevator and the stairs need repair.

Hostal is not hotel
Check-in time on hotels.com site is wrong. Also this place does not keep lagage. No amenity, no hair dryer. Because it is not hotel. TV, bed, shower and wifi. That's all. But TV channels are only local in spanish, shower head is broken. The price is expensive as hotels.

HabĆ­a visto opiniones de gente y tenĆ­a miedo de lo que me iba a encontrar, pero me he encontrado algo totalmente diferente, la persona que nos atendiĆ³ fue sĆŗper maja, cada vez que pedĆ­amos servicio de limpieza la habitaciĆ³n al volver estaba impoluta, incluso me deje el DNI allĆ­ y fueron tan amables de llamarme y guardarmelo Lo Ćŗnico negativo que podrĆ­a ver es que hay un ascensor que no funciona y iba con mi padre que tiene una rodilla mal y le costaba mucho subir las escaleras. Por todo lo demĆ”s perfecto

Security is good (24 hours front desk opens door from road on request, keys are given for each room). the rooms are clean. Major complaint: Madrid in January is freezing cold at night. The building is poorly insulated (may also apply to other hostals in this city/area) and the heating system does not really help). Rooms are uncomfortable cold as a result ! serious issue for me. Worse, there is not even an electric kettle in the rooms or community area to make a warming tea. Canā€˜t understand why the owners donā€˜t make such $10.- investment.... WiFi is free but not really usable in my rooms 104 and 102 as the signal is too week. Apart from that the location is nice (metro station in 5 minutes walk).

Le plus.. L'hƓtel est bien situƩ, quartier sympa et Ơ proximitƩ d'une bouche de mƩtro. Le moins.. L'hƓtel manque vraiment d'isolation phonique au niveau des portes de chambre, couloir bruyant. Manque de linge, obligƩ de prendre une serviette de visage et donc s'en priver, pour servir de tapis de bain au sortir de la douche. Sinon accueil gentil , mais pas en franƧais, dommage..

Nossa reserva estava previsto cafĆ© da manhĆ£ e ao indagarmos no check-in de que nĆ£o estava incluso. Mostramos a reserva para recepcionista e mesmo assim nĆ£o liberou. NĆ£o tem elevador. Quartos ficam no 2Āŗ andar.
