Easy to check in, shared bathrooms were always very clean, within walking distance to train station/major attractions/grocery stores, safe, great wifi The only downside (which is a no fault of the property) is the building is quite loud, always people coming and going at all hours in the hostel that can be heard clearly or doors being slammed in the courtyard

Basic, bed to be improved but manageable for a day
Great location, the check in process was smooth and easy. The room itself was basic and warm though the bed was a very small (I am 6"2 / 188cm) and I didnt fit well. Also, the bed was shacking every time I moved in bed. Overall basic and ok for the price and a night.

We loved staying here as it was perfectly located in the middle of everything. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room was in good shape. However, the shared bathrooms were quite small and uncomfortable to use. If you spend a lot of time in there, would be best to go for the private bathroom option. Thank you for our stay :)

The only positive aspect is the location: close to gran via ( a few hundred metres from metro Callao). The hostal is located on the 2nd floor with lift of a building. The room is extremely small, so are the beds. It was not clean. For the bathroom you have to wait a really long time to get hot water and then you burn yourself. The shower is a really small bathtub. The staff only speaks Spanish, not very friendly. Walls really thin, so you can hear everything from people talking to water running. We had to ask for toilet paper and the staff person asked for our room number.

El hostal está en un muy buena zona respecto al centro de Madrid. La limpieza muy mejorable, ya que había bastante polvo, pelusas debajo de la cama, y la ventana muy sucia, las sábanas daban alergia, hasta el punto que tuvimos que quitarlas y usar unas propias, algo que nunca antes nos había pasado.

Mala experiencia, en primer lugar en las especificaciones nunca ponen que el baño es compartido con varias habitaciones. Huele mal, como a cigarro, hay mucho ruido y no se puede descansar. Las ropa de cama se ve vieja y no da buen aspecto.

Elegimos este hotel porque ya no encontrábamos más opciones para pasar Nochevieja en Madrid. Lo positivo: excelente ubicación, con ascensor y recepción durante todo el día y casi toda la noche. Huele muy bien el recibidor y las habitaciones. La limpieza es buena. Por otro lado, sabíamos que el hostal no era la gran cosa, pero definitivamente esperamos algo más por su alto precio. La habitación era bastante pequeña, vieja, oscura, y algo húmeda. La cerradura de La puerta es débil y da sensación de poca seguridad; es como la cerradura para un cajón en lugar de ser para una habitación. Las camas son como de hospital de los años cincuenta; eso sí, los colchones cómodos. El baño horrible en todas sus dimensiones: pequeño, mal iluminado, una cortina de baño horrible y poco papel higiénico. Las toallas son de algodón, pero barato por lo tanto no secan bien y no se secan rápido. Sabíamos que esto podía pasar de acuerdo a las reseñas, pero con todo lo que pagamos teníamos esperanzas de encontrar algo mejor. No lo recomiendo, si tienes tiempo busca algo mejor.
