Belterra was beautiful back in its hayday but I was not impressed now. There are no shops inside like there use to be. The Casino tables need to be replaced and they need to loosen up. You will not win when you go down there.

Everywhere was a smoking area. We were booked with a smoking room. I didn't know this was still an option anymore. I asked to change rooms. They gave us a handicap room, and they said the shower was broke, but it had a tub. We got ready to bathe and the tub handle fell off, the the drain didn't work. At check out I explained my concerns, and the response was thanks. We will call maintenance. No apologies or anything. As if they don't care at all. This was our Honeymoon. We were so disappointed. This is not the same as they used to be in years past. This used to be a nice clean smelling place to stay. With a caring staff.
