Towneplace Suites By Marriott Geneva
5/5 Excellent
"The staff, especially, Morgan at the front desk, was excellent. They were friendly, helpful, and accommodating.
The hotel and rooms are very nice, except for the fact that you can hear when people are running around in rooms above you, moving things, etc. We had to make noise complaints, but that didn't stop the noise. Had it been less busy there with an event at Squire Sports next door, it probably wouldn't have been so loud. I'll bring ear plugs next time. The heating/AC unit was odd also. It would blow cold air and then heat and then cold, rather than just stopping at one temperature like most hotels. Other than that, the rooms were spacious, had a full kitchen with everything you needed to cook and eat, plus a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, stove top, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, large TV, large bathroom with great water pressure and heat in the shower, soft beds with good linens, and a full size closet. The only thing missing in the bathroom was a hook next to the shower to be able to hang your towel for when you get out.
The included breakfast had good selections each day including Belgian waffles, toppings, eggs, some kind of meat, bagels, bread, muffins, yogurt, juices, milk, coffee, tea, and whole fruit. I wish they would run breakfast until 11 am since it is in wine country and most wineries don't open until noon. We could have had a little more time to sleep in and it would have been less crowded.
