If you're staying over Christmas/New Year, the extra effort with decorations and evening schedules is really lovely - the best I've experienced. "We stayed for 2 nights, and we both thought that the food and the public areas were amazing. We also booked the yoga classes which were great. The bungalows are very cool, they are open, so you get a pretty unique experience. The beds are a bit on the hard side, this should be improved."

"This property is scam. Absolutely dirty, I don’t feel like recommending it. I want my money back. AC didn’t work, leaking water from AC vent. Dirty towel, spiders in bathrooms, broken taps We were 16 people, and our stay was horrible."

"The resort is the labor of love of Chamal the owner. 9 private and beautifully done villas set in the middle of nature. We had lunch and dinner everyday in the restaurant by the river. Loved the property, service was warm and friendly and seafood was superb. Great find!"

"This is a great beach villa, this was our last stop of our tour of Sri Lanka and we were all ready for a rest! The villa is great for that, right on the beach and a tuktuk ride away from the next town. It had everything we needed: 2 good bedrooms and full working kitchen. The team were great and looked after us superbly well. All requests were catered for including shopping, cooking meals, extra towels. Our trip coincided with Sri Lankan New Year and everyone is on holiday - the Blue Parrot team...
