"The house was cute, and the location was good. We liked the woods and stream around the house and the quiet road it was on. The views of the woods out the windows were lovely. There were a few old board games for the kids, but not much else for them to do when it was raining. The TV worked well, and we had internet. "This cottage had all the comforts of home and a great location for us, as our family lives just a few minutes down the road! Check in process and communication with Tom, our host, were seamless. Our only challenge is we had hot water issues, but Tom was very responsive and helpful. We would not hesitate to stay there again and would recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable, quiet place to stay."

These instructions were addressed to another individual and dated 2021, which seems to be an indication of the last time the property had any attention. Arrival was fairly smooth, following the instruction sheet. The exterior of the house was somewhat worn, with sections of missing gutter, worn paint, and loose entry steps. "I loved this place. It's a rustic cottage with all the amenities. It was near the university so it was easy to go back and forth. It was clean and cozy, tucked away in the foliage. The host and hostess were very accommodating and responsive. I hope to stay here again next year. "

"Very comfortable guest house in the woods that has everything we needed for an extended weekend enjoying the fall foliage and exploring the Mad River Valley, Waterbury and Stowe. The kitchen was well equipped for meal preparation but there were also great local restaurants recommended by Beth. Dog friendly too!"

"The area in Vermont was beautiful. The resort was clean and comfortable, but electrical outlets were worn out, could be a safety issue. The place had 2 TVs, but neither could work. The ownership of the resort is remote and had to call an 800 number for issues. We did not see any local management. The appliances in kitchen all worked good, and we liked being able to have space to make our own meals sometimes. The bathrooms had nice showers and clean. The beds were comfortable but not luxurious....

"We had four couples coming from four different states. Our stay was during the end of September 2024. This house has ample room both in bedrooms and living space. Super views even with leaves on the trees. We would return to this house."
