"Enjoyed a pleasant two night stay here. With some advanced notice, we were able to arrive late and check in the following morning. The room was comfortable for my family of 5 and Herve served a fabulous breakfast for us each morning. Herve provided us with a map of Lyon and circled some places we should visit for a daytrip into the city. "This accommodation was a stop over for travel from east to west in France. We wanted to keep away from towns and liked the idea of a in house dinner and breakfast. Both were superb . "This place would have been what it promised, a place of dreams: remote, rural, beautiful, wonderfully appointed, easygoing, friendly. BUT. After going quite a long distance out of our way to find this special place, being greeted by the friendly owner, moving into our room, and hitting the pool, the owner returned to tell us that he had double-booked the room, and we would have to leave. So we had to get out, get dressed, and leave to make another drive to find another hotel (sight unseen)......
