"A very beautiful hotel with excellent location. The location and ease alone access made it worth it. The hotel staff greeted us at the train station and helped us with our bus tickets and luggage. We received a room upgrade when we arrived, the room was well decorated and clean. The restaurant was good and our lunch, dinner and breakfast were included. However the service in the restaurant was a bit slow. When you check out and leave Machu Picchu the hotel gives you access to showers even if you have checked out. Very nice detail we greatly appreciated "

"this hotel had an awesome staff. everyone was courteous, super helpful and accomodating. we wanted to see macchu picchu but all online tix were sold out and via expedia msging, the hotel staff confirmed that there is a center that sells macchu tickets in person if we get to the city before lunch. the hotel staff even offered to accompany us to the bldg. turns out, the walk was only 4mins from their door. this hotel is centrally located and provides pickup from the train station, jus 10mins away. they have their own restaurant too and hav free brkfast and the window view is amazing since it sits beside a river. It also has a spa and massages were cheap. The hotel is beside a train track lined with other hotels and restaurants so it feels safe even at 10pm and its easy to find food. we also got a river suite and the jacuzzi atmosphere is marvelous. the shower strength is great, there are robes and slippers in the room and the A/C works well. my only complaint is there may be a mice in the roof lol. me and the husband kept waking up to loud, scuttling sounds. otherwise, everything was super perfect. "

"We loved our stay at the Viandina. We needed a clean, welcoming place for two nights in Aguascalientes and we found it in Viandina. They met us at the train station, answered alot of questions regarding Machu Picchu, and were very welcoming. They had arranged for a guide for us and when the guide agency did a “bait and switch”, they didn’t charge us for the guide. Warm breakfast, clean room, friendly service. Loved it! "

"For what we expected in Aguas Calientes and what we paid, this spot was create. A simple room, but fit our needs to allow us to see Machu Picchu. Aguas Calientes is very small and walkable and this place in the center of the more tourist area. "
