"The house is huge and very comfortable. I'd say it needs a few improvements (we had a doorknob that keep falling and the couple would be locked in the room, the cloth iron was no good). Great amount of sheets and towels. It's not dar from Cape Charles beach. Communicaton with property manager was not good. "

"I've used this hotel multiple times. It's clean and comfortable with good customer service. It's not fancy but it has everything I need. Good water pressure in the shower and comfy bed with microwave, fridge and desk space. Good wifi. For the money a good deal."

"I can't say enough good things about The Baywood Bed & Breakfast. This was my second visit, and it was just as lovely as the first. The cleanliness of the room is beyond any five-star establishment that I have stayed in. And the breakfast that is cooked by the Host Mike puts any breakfast I've had in any dining establishment to shame! "We had a very pleasant stay on the river. Everyone enjoyed the pool, fire pit and fishing off the dock. Our favorite time was having family dinners poolside. The experience was enhanced by the home's mix of historic charm and modern amenities. We would definitely visit again!"

"The front desk staff were amazing! They had answers for all the questions we asked about the area. Stanley greeted us with a purr. He has to be the sweetest cat ever! Shower water was perfectly hot, bed was comfy. Easy drive to restaurants and sights in the area. We were there in the winter and plan on coming back in the spring."
