Adrienne's Country Retreat

Our country retreat is located on a picturesque setting of 15 acres in Victoria's Macedon Ranges, abundant with Australian wildlife. There is plenty of space to unwind. Enjoy the ambiance of the fresh country air and views. The retreat is spacious and beautifully decorated throughout and has FREE WIFI.

The Retreat sleeps 11, but can be split into 2 separate and private living and sleeping areas, The House and The Studio.

2 Lounges one with pool table and open fire, the other a large country kitchen, dining, wood fire.
Both lounges and king room have large plasma TV's. Kitchen has all appliances, tea, coffee, and pantry with the basics.

The Studio is a contemporary styled self-contained studio/apartment, with your own entrance. the studio has two bedrooms, one with a king sized bed the other with a double bed, electric blankets and large plasma TV's and DVD in both. There is a modern spacious bathroom and a kitchenette,with a fridge, microwave and electric fry pan. Tea and coffee are supplied as well a some welcoming chocolates.
Fabulous outdoor undercover spa-accommodates up to 6-8 persons.
BBQ facilities.
Spacious outdoor sitting area for alfresco dinning.
Close to restaurants and other village amenities.
Access to 15 acres of garden and bush walks.

Great place to stay
This was a great place for a group of friends to enjoy a weekend away. The pool table and spa were awesome. The place was really clean too which was great. I think i might have forgotten to press start on the dishwasher though, sorry if that was the case, Adrienne. We really enjoyed the property.

The peaceful surroundings of the Macedon area were appreciated as the mornings and evenings brought a special quality and light that we all enjoyed. The house comfortably accommodated 11 people and this included five children between the ages of 3-10 years of age. Shops were within a 15-minute drive to Gisborne and about 20-minutes to Woodend.

House very comfortable for our group of 8. Unfortunately, not totally suitable for the smaller dogs, who do like to escape. Disappointed that the pool was hot, being summertime, but would be magic in the cooler months. Everything else to our liking.

Suitable for groups however there are a number of double or queen size beds reducing the number of friends able to stay together. The house was well stocked, very comfortable and had lovely views. It was a peaceful retreat.

All you could want
Was a perfect blend of space and activities. I took my 3yo out on the boat which was a highlight. Our 2nd stay here, and we are not sure why we would want to stay anywhere else. It was everything you might ever want.

We loved this property. 15 glorious acres including a damn, 2 x fireplaces, large bedrooms, two lounge rooms, BBQ's, country style kitchen, a pool table - the list goes on!! Absolutely Perfect for our big family gathering and a property with really great, welcoming feel. We'll definitely be back!

Simply Wonderful and Will Return!
A beautiful, well-loved property that feels like home as soon as you settle in. Adrienne is a wonderful host who helped us get the hot tub up and running and even found a basketball for the boys to throw around. This is a great place for families with little kids, teens and furbabies. We used it as a base to explore despite Hanging Rock not being open. Would totally recommend this place for a family break. Thanks!

Perfect family getaway
Adrienne provided an excellent venue for our family over the long weekend in June. Beautiful surroundings, a large home for everyone to spread out and ideal facilities to keep us all entertained. We appreciated every effort, from the bubbly and chocolate on arrival and helping keep us all comfortable while the SES worked to restore power for the community, to make it a most memorable family gathering. One weekend we will remember for all the right reasons.

Great location and setting
At the foot of the Macedon Ranges close to Gisborne and Woodend set in a gorgeous bush land setting with deer and kangaroos abounding. Nice outdoor facilities including BBQ, good kitchen. A couple of fabulous BRs, two ok although with small beds and one tiny bedroom without natural lighting (grim). 3 good bathrooms. Great for a group

Amazing property in beautiful location
This is our 2nd time staying at Adrienne's country retreat and it was even better than we remembered. The house is located on a beautiful property, with great views. You feel miles away but town is just a short drive away. Our family loved the outdoor heated spa and the pool table and the log fire. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking. The beds are super comfortable and everything you need is provided. Adrienne is very prompt in all her communications and very easy to deal with. We would love to come back again.
