"We loved our stay at this cottage. The property was beyond beautiful, with many trails to discover. We hiked to Foley Mountain with breath tracking views, as well as a canoe ride just down the street, which Hermann provides you the canoe for a rental fee. Nothing bad to say, other than a private washroom would be preferred as we felt we had to be quiet while in there, and that the shower wasn't geared towards tall people, having showers as its a handheld shower hose with no curtain. "This small cabin has your basic necessities and was just fine for my father and I on our last fishing trip of the year. I booked this location due to having a boat dock where I could keep my boat in the water. Unfortunately, late in the year they lower the water levels on the lake and our boat dock was not accessible due to the low water levels. "Hosts are very welcoming and show you everything and thought of everything. Very private with large grassy yard My golden doodle had a blast playing fetch and being off leach. We played bocce ball and enjoyed the fire pit as well as the lit screened in picnic table in the evening. Cabin is compact but windows let in a wee breeze. The kayaks were the highlight, kayaking to the waterfall. Happy, relaxing time 😎🐶"
