Great Hotel
Stayed for 2 nights. Good room round the back of the building so nice and quiet. Helpful, freindly staff. Handy cocktail bar downstairs!

Quirky room, lively location.
Hotel was 5 minutes walk from a reasonably-priced (€16 for 24 hrs) car park outside a shopping outlet. Hotel rooms were above a cocktail bar situated opposite a small square filled with bars and restaurants, close to the town hall. Room had 4 single beds set up as two doubles, separated by a small set of shelves and a small dining table with four chairs. There was no air con, but a large fan was provided. The bathroom was large, and included a small, theatre-style dressing room. Breakfast was reasonably priced (€25 for two adults and one child) with plenty to choose from. Given the location, potential visitors should be aware that the rooms were a little noisy, although we mostly slept through it. That was the only real downside, and despite that we would return.

Friendly staff, good position. Adequate room, but third floor with no lift could be an issue for the less able. En-suite had a WC with macerator, which had an in pleasant smell. Breakfast was good. Although advertised with parking, this has to be pre-booked and was full when we arrived. There is a public car park nearby which was 16€.

The location is excellent. Overall the hotel staff is kind, while the service may not be in a timely or safe manner. Taking an example, the hotel ask their guest to keep the room key at the hotel,while there is typically no staff taking care of it so that you either have to wait for quite some time or leave your room key on their desk with no one paying attention to it and anyone dropping by seems to be able to get your key if they indeed like to. During the stay, there are several times when I get back the key is still on the desk and not stored by the staff. Cleanness also has a lot to be improved. Taking new towel as an example, I was scared by a died bug ( most likely a centipede) when I was using the towel. For a newly replaced new towel, it supposed to be clean and this situation is not acceptable. You either choose other hotel or investigate every new towel to avoid this kind of situation.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was basic, with no amenities (tea/coffee machine, bedside shelves or cupboards. There was a constant noise from hot water pipes. There was no sound insulation from upstairs or outside

Couldn't get shower to work, complained and was told manager would check it. Was told he had but still Couldn't get it to work. Found a cleaner who made it work, just a switch which was very stiff but manager hsd clearly NOT checked it. Central location but not good for light sleepers as noisy area. Facilities ok but not what i would expect for the money €100 per night. Staff friendly

Ich schreibe jetzt das, was andere auch schon geschrieben haben. Sehr nettes Personal, gutes Kontinentales Frühstück, aber die Zimmer sind nicht mehr als zwei Sterne wert. Spartanisch eingerichtet, das trifft es; allerdings war das Bett sauber bezogen. Für zwei Nächte geht das dann noch, aber dafür war es - im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels in Maastricht - preiswert. Vom Bahnhof braucht man zu Fuß je nach Alter 15 - 20 Minuten, der Weg ist sehr leicht zu finden, weil es direkt am Markt liegt und auch der Freythof gleich um die Ecke liegt. Ich hatte ein Comfort-Zimmer mit einem eigenen und ganz neuen sauberen Bad. Die Zeiten von Gemeinschaftsbädern und Gemeinschaftstoiletten sind bei mir vorbei. Das haben nämlich die allermeisten anderen Zimmer in diesem Hotel. Das bitte bei der Buchung beachten. Und: Dagegen sind i Vergleich die B&B-Hotels der pure Luxus.

Hotel sehr zentral gelegen. Alles fußläufig erreichbar. Restaurants und Geschäfte nahe Unterkunft. Trotz angrenzender Bar ist es nachts ruhig. Zimmer war sehr sperrlich eingerichtet und leicht verstaubt trotz täglicher Reinigung. WLAN im Zimmer ging erst auf Nachfrage. Der Schlüssel muss jedes mal beim verlassen des hotels abgegeben werden

Een luxe kamer was het zeker niet. Kamer was prima maar in de zomer zal het er wel erg warm zijn. Geen airco. Toilet en douche moest je delen met de rest van de etage. Maar voor 1 nachtje prima te doen. Ontbijt was goed.
