Welcome to the Riverside Cabins! Grab your gear and head over to our 1bed 1 bath Maple Cabin in the heart of the Colorado Rockies! This cabin is on our private property along the St Vrain River. Maple Cabin is duplex style in a group of 6 cabins each with its own private space. Come unplug and enjoy all the Rocky Mountains have to offer all within minutes of your cabin. Come and relax, enjoy the fresh mountain air in the beauty of nature this cabin provides that as well.
The Space:
Walk into this cabin and you immediately feel the coziness with a gas fireplace. There is a comfy full sized futon in the living room that could easily fit two small children or 1 adult. Open the door to the bedroom where we have a soft Queen size bed to sleep on after a day of adventuring. The bathroom has been remodeled complete with shower, fresh towels and eco friendly soaps! Enter your private, fenced in back patio to sit and enjoy the fresh mountain air or grill your favorite mouintain meal. If the kids are with you watch them jump, crawl, climb and play on our natural play area!
Walk from the main area to the kitchen where you will find a refrigerator, gas stove/oven, toaster, microwave, coffee and all the cookware and dishes you need! Enjoy a kitchen dining table set for four in our cozy nook with lots of sunlight. If you prefer to grill, you can walk out the back door to your own fenced in private patio and enjoy some grilling and fresh mountain air!
This cabin as been fully remodeled and ready for you to come and enjoy! It shares a front porch with the cabin next door, duplex style. If you are looking for more places for friends and family to stay please ask about additional accommodations as we do have 9 other cabins throughout the property!
PETS- There is a one time $50 pet fee per pet with a max of 2 pets at this cabin. Please KEEP YOUR PET ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES for the safety of your pet as well as other guests, and wildlife. Also please pick up after your pet. We have a dog trash/bag station near your cabin.
Guest Access:
If you are coming from Lyons you will turn left right after county road 80 onto our private drive. You will head down the road passing the parking lot, continue going STRAIGHT following the one way, dirt road all the way to the back of the property following it as it turns to the right. You will pass a garage and cabin. A little further and you will come to a group of 6 cabins. Your cabin will be the one on your left in the back with the blue chairs on the deck. The cabin name is Maple. Park in the unloading area to get all your things inside and then continue to follow the one way road back to park in the parking lot. It will be a short walk from the parking lot to your cabin. We wanted to keep the property quiet, peaceful and natural for all of our guests so you can enjoy all the property has to offer! You are able to access this cabin with any type of vehicle although please think about the time of year you are coming and what areas you would like to adventure to. Getting to some of the trailheads may require AWD or 4WD.

The Maple Cabin is located on the Riverside Cabins private property right along the St. Vrain River! There are 11 cabins on our property and we pride ourselves in keeping it private and natural so everyone can enjoy the beauty of the mountains. We are less then 8min to Lyons and about 15min to Estes Park, 20min to RMNP and any and all hikes in between! If you are looking to attend one of Lyons many festivals we are a 5min drive to Planet Blue Grass.

Getting Around:
You should easily be able to access our property with any vehicle however in winter anywhere in the Colorado Mountains it is recommended to have AWD or 4WD. Our property is plowed and shoveled.
Parking- please use the One Way road to get to your cabin to unload your things. Always go the same direction to get back to the parking lot. The road is not wide enough for two vehicles to pass each other in certain spots.
Other Things to Note:
Pets: We are so glad you can bring your pet with you as we know they are part of the family. We do have a one time pet fee of $50 per pet with a maximum of 2 pets. Anytime you are out on the property we ask that you have your pet on a leash and you pick up after them. There are dog poop station with poop bags on the property. Lastly if you absolutely need to leave your pet in the cabin while you are gone we as that you have them in a crate.

Wildlife: We are in the mountains and do have wildlife walking through the property regularly such as Black Bear, Elk, Bobcats, Fox and Deer. That being said these are wild animals and we are in their space so please enjoy them but keep a safe distance. Never approach them and please do not leave any food in your vehicle or outside. Lock your car at all times and please throw food garbage in our bear proof container on the property up by the Lodge.
Outdoor Fire pits: We have 5 outdoor gas firepits for you to enjoy. When you are done having a fire please remember to turn the firepit off and then the propane tank.
River and Fire Bans- The River is cold mountain run off and is also at times very deep and fast. Please be aware of this and stay a safe distance when enjoying! We will let you know about any fire bans that might come up in the area.
WIFI: we do have wifi on the property and it is usually great! However we are in the canyon and at times it can be spotty depending on weather, etc.
