"We had a wonderful stay at the Little Black Cabin over Thanksgiving weekend. The kitchen had everything we needed, and both the bed and the sleeper sofa were incredibly comfortable. The cabin offered a peaceful and quiet retreat, while still being conveniently close to stores and family. An added bonus was the electric car charger, which wasn't mentioned in the listing but was greatly appreciated!"

"Owner was easy to communicate with, the property was beautiful and set away from it all; but still 15-20 minutes from downtown Brenham. Kids were able to roam, check out the livestock, fish, and relax at the pool. Plenty of room to grill and cook, all while relaxing at the end of baseball tournament games. Will definitely be making a returning booking."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Lakeview Cabin. The lot was spacious, and it was an easy walk to the lake. The house was well stocked and clean. There was an abundance of games in the lower level with plenty of oudoor seating. Kristen responded quickly to questions prior to our arrival-easy communication. We will be back!!"

"I have to travel to Brenham for work quite often. My go to place to stay is Rockin Star Ranch. I can't say enough about the beauty and tranquility of this place. To be honest, it's therapeutic. The cabins are immaculate, the animals are everywhere, and Darrell is an incredible host. I'm very thankful that i found this place."

"We absolutely loved our stay...just one negative...the beds were very uncomfortable. When sitting on them, it sounded like they were going to break. We could feel the springs in our back and we sank to the middle. Rolling over was very loud. The mattresses need to be replaced quickly. We were there for a Select Softball Tournament for my daughter. She has mild scoliosis but usually has no problems with hotel stays. Her back and sides were hurting after sleeping on these beds. "We are only 2 hours away from Rockin Star, but this was just far enough to get out of the city & enjoy the quiet & slower pace of the hill country. We enjoyed the pool each evening & it was very relaxing. Darrell Sr & Jr were super friendly & helpful with the ins & outs of the property, and Darrell Sr showed us around the property.
